Executive Chef Oliver A. Wolf

As Executive Chef of all things culinary at JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa, Chef Oliver A. Wolf brings a true cosmopolitan polish and flair to the resort. Trained and educated in his profession in Germany, he has since honed his skills internationally at prestigious resorts and clubs in Munich, Bavaria, Düsseldorf, Lahnstein, and Bermuda

 

While in the United States, Chef Wolf has flexed his culinary muscles at a variety of esteemed Marriott properties, including the Marina Del Rey Marina Beach, The Chicago and the Philadelphia Downtown, and the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

 

Chef Wolf describes his cooking style as “light cuisine with a tropical flair, utilizing classical techniques” and his cooking philosophy is "preparing fresh, simple food that is instantly appealing.”  He is inspired by “seeing a food product at the market and envisioning the final outcome on the plate.”

Sous Chef Bryson Crittenden

Chef Crittenden servs as Sous Chef at JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa. Crittenden works with a talented group of individuals and draws on inspiration from Executive Chef Oliver Wolf. He takes pride in working in an environment that fosters creativity and innovation in a forever-changing industry, while still crafting quality food that is simple yet refined.

 

Chef Crittenden’s fervor for food began early on in life as he engaged in culinary classes at the Francis Tuttle Vocational School. He soon entered regional cooking competitions and quickly began to discover his tasteful talent, landing him at the national level two years in a row. Chef also attended The Culinary Institute of America where he would further his passion for food, and develop an eclectic foundation to shape the future of his culinary career.
