Executive Chef Dallas Montgomery

Executive Chef Dallas Montgomery comes to Grille 39 and the Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel with as a wealth of education and a natural talent in the culinary arts. He is a graduate from Purdue University where he received his Bachelor Degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision. He followed that up with an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Indianapolis. Chef Montgomery joined the team at the Renaissance in 2009, learning the kitchen from the inside out, while sharpening his skills and knowledge.


The menu at the Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel was meticulously created by Chef Montgomery and represents the freshest and most delectable cuisine in the Carmel area from breakfast, lunch, dinner, and beyond.

Restaurant Manager Josh Lee

Josh Lee is the Entrepreneurial Restaurant Manager of Grille 39, our destination restaurant at the Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel.


A graduate of The Ohio State University, with over 9 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Josh has excelled in a variety of restaurant and hospitality concepts throughout his career. In 2013, Josh Lee joined The Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel as the Grille 39 Manager. Josh Lee, with the help of his amazing staff, became the driving force behind the creation of impressive signature cocktails and professional service culture. Along with his team at Grille 39, he excels at providing an elegant, unique, sophisticated, yet casual atmosphere that inspires you to linger with a signature cocktail and experience our award winning food, drinks, and service.

Restaurant Manager Erika Yateman

Erika Yateman is the Restaurant Manager for Grille 39 during breakfast and lunch. 


She is a graduate from Purdue University’s Hospitality and Tourism Management Program. Kara joined the Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel on the serving team and was promoted to manager in the summer of 2012. You can find Kara and her team smiling as early as 5:30am if you're looking for a wake-up from our Starbucks Day Bar, a perfect breakfast experience or an enjoyable lunch break from a hectic day. Kara's team excels at being the best day time dining option in Carmel with their simple yet elegant service always accompanied with a smile and mouthwatering food.
