Chef Tourondel’s French inflections shine in his preparation of dishes like tuna tartare with avocado and soy-lime dressing. Sides such as grilled asparagus, stuffed mushroom caps and potatoes which more than hold their own among entrees. And dessert is an experience in and of itself. Caramelized cheesecake and crêpe soufflé with passion fruit sauce are just two of the must-try items.
Certified Black Angus and USDA Prime cuts of beef, as well as American Wagyu, are the main focal point of BLT Steak’s menu. Each cut of meat is naturally aged for maximum tenderness and flavor, then served with herb butter in a cast-iron pan. It’s a menu that’s meticulously organized by category with main courses complemented by savory sauces like peppercorn, horseradish and béarnaise – just some examples of Chef Laurent Tourondel’s classic French training. Chef Tourondel’s fish entrees, although delicate, arrive in steakhouse-sized portions and in a similar manner.
