Executive Chef Eric Theiss manages the resort’s six Palm Springs restaurants with an expert staff of 60. A master of blending authentic with the varied and intriguing, he is a seasoned veteran with nearly two decades of culinary craftsmanship.
Prior to joining the Renaissance Esmeralda team, Theiss oversaw the kitchens at notable properties including Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe and Park Ridge Marriot, and worked his way up through the ranks at the San Diego Marriott and JW Desert Springs Resort & Spa.
