Chef Andrew Hoh
During his 10 years at Arterra, Chef Andrew Hoh has cemented his reputation for creating the most unique and delicious modern sushi rolls from the world’s freshest sashimi-grade seafood. Open to creating a one-of-a-kind roll on the spot, Hoh creates his specialties by combining traditional sushi making with the eclectic flavors of Southern California. Hoh offers to take diners on a culinary adventure that will astound the senses when he invents specialties such as the Scrumptious Roll, whips up a sauce from scratch or crafts an entirely new sushi creation right before diners’ eyes.

Arterra continues to be recognized as one of the best restaurants in Del Mar by epicureans and critics alike due to its award-winning food and wine program. It has been awarded Three Diamonds from AAA, an award only given to establishments that have a distinguished style and upgraded qualities of physical attributes, amenities and level of comfort.
