Our restaurant's Executive Chef, Trevor Simms, has always had a relationship with the sea. A native of coastal Newfoundland, he spent his childhood catching caplin; today, he creates elegant dishes here at harbourstone sea grill at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront.
Chef Trevor’s love of food led him to study at the Culinary Institute of Canada, and since graduating, he has travelled across the country to work at top hotels and resorts in over 11 different kitchens. Having received some of the industry's best awards and accolades, Chef Trevor is excited to be here in Halifax at the helm of our restaurant.
