Museums, shopping, and historic sites abound in—and around—the city of Minot, North Dakota. Guests can walk to the Dakota Square Mall from our Minot hotel and peruse the many stores and boutiques. Downtown, see pieces produced by local artists at the Taube Museum of Art, or visit the animals at the Roosevelt Zoo. You can learn about the history of transportation in the area at the Railroad Museum of Minot or the Old Soo Depot Transportation Museum; the Dakota Territory Air Museum is a must-see for aviation buffs.
Tee off at the 72-par Souris Valley Course or the Minot Country Club Golf Course, considered one of the best classic courses in North Dakota. Picnicking is an excellent way to relax and enjoy the parks throughout Minot.
Our hotel’s guests can also catch a concert or try their luck at the Four Bears Casino, not far from our Minot accommodations. Then visit nearby Wolford and wander 800 acres of farmland at the Dale and Martha Hawk Museum. If there’s time for a day trip, drive to Washburn and visit the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center at Fort Mandan, providing a closer look at the lives of Meriwether Lewis, William Clark, and their famous Native American guide, Sacagawea.
