Pasadena

Only 12 miles from downtown Los Angeles, the city of Pasadena offers a cozy California experience while still providing easy access to the entertainment capital of the world. Pasadena hotel guests can spend their days shopping on Rodeo Drive or the Miracle Mile, or explore the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Mann's Chinese Theatre for a complete star-studded Cali experience.

Pasadena also offers a number of different attractions for the die-hard sports fan, including the Rose Bowl Stadium, home to the oldest college football bowl game, as well as serving as the playing field for five previous Super Bowls.

You can visit many of the area’s notable residences, including the Tournament House, former estate of Wrigley's Chewing Gum founder William Wrigley Jr., and The Gamble House, a certified California Historical Landmark and official American Craftsman Masterpiece––both convenient to downtown Pasadena hotels. Plan a tour of the Norton Simon Museum, a local art museum featuring an outdoor sculpture garden as well.

In Pasadena, you are always only a stone’s throw away from exquisite dining establishments, with Amalia's Guatemalan Restaurant topping the list. Or follow in the footsteps of legendary scientist, and California Institute of Technology visiting professor, Albert Einstein––swing by the on-campus Athenaeum restaurant for a classy collegiate meal. Tour Old Pasadena for historic buildings intermixed with a vibrant downtown scene. With scores of shops, restaurants, and accommodations, Pasadena has something for everyone.
