Wilmington NC

Wilmington is a beautiful coastal town in North Carolina. Start to discover Wilmington attractions by strolling along the Riverwalk. Here, guests will find some of the top sites in the city, including the USS North Carolina battleship, the Cotton Exchange, and the 1914 Murchison Building. Next, explore the 230 blocks of Wilmington’s Historic District – one of the largest historic districts in the United States. Visit the Cameron Art Museum located here, or branch out further and tour the Wilmington Railroad Museum, the Bellamy Mansion Museum, or the Cape Fear Museum. Nature lovers will find plenty of places to visit in Wilmington as well. Green spaces are abundant in the area, such as the 67-acre Airlie Gardens, the New Hanover County Arboretum, and the Poplar Grove Peanut Plantation. Visitors can also relax at the nearby beaches, like Carolina, Kure, and Wrightsville Beach. Head out a little further and you will find the 8.4-mile Masonboro Island Reserve, a barrier island with stunning views and excellent opportunities for outdoor activities. In the evening, guests in Wilmington hotels can head back to the Riverwalk to find the best meal in town at one of the many restaurants and pubs or pick up souvenirs at the lovely boutique shops.
