Our Culinary Team

The culinary team at our Orlando wedding hotel is dedicated to providing the highest possible quality products with a focus and emphasis on local farms and sustainable seafood whenever available. We are proud to offer micro local highlights from responsible growers and producers in the industry.


John Janucik - Executive Chef


Chef Janucik has been in the culinary field for 15 years. He is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and continuing education at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley, California. His culinary creations are described as sophisticated and savory delights with modern finesse.


Liliana Medellin - Pastry Supervisor


Liliana Medellin has been part of the Culinary industry for over 14 years. She started her career working for several small shops where she learned the important techniques of creating French and Italian desserts and pastries.


Medellin started with Marriott 10 years ago at the Detroit Renaissance and moved to the Orlando World Center Marriott. Now she is a pivotal leader of the pastry team at the Renaissance Orlando SeaWorld. She has an extensive knowledge of pastry arts, and specializes in wedding cakes, plated desserts and European pastries. She is proud to showcase her talents at each and every special celebration held in our Orlando wedding venues.
