Individuals traveling to the United States by air or sea from Visa Waiver Program countries will be required to receive pre-approval through a new Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).
The Visa Waiver Program (VWP) allows travelers from specific countries to remain in the U.S. for up to 90 days without a visitor visa. The ESTA will allow eligible visitors from qualifying countries to apply for entry prior to travel via an Internet-based form that will be submitted to the U.S. Government for review and response. If you are approved to enter the U.S., the ESTA authorization remains valid for multiple entries over a two-year period.
The ESTA is modeled after a successful Australian program and will improve security while streamlining travel to the U.S. by discontinuing the use of the paper I-94 forms at ports of entry.
We encourage our guests traveling to the U.S. from VWP countries to review the new requirements and begin utilizing the ESTA program.
