From Cancun to Paris, Marriott Rewards®, the award-winning guest loyalty program, says goodbye to blackout dates beginning January 15, 2009.  Marriott Rewards members will be able to redeem points for free nights at 2,900 hotels every day of the year.

“In today’s world of travel rules and regulations, people are looking for ways to take a trip on their own terms,” said Ed French, senior vice president, Marriott Rewards. “Especially in today’s economic environment, our program is all about making life on the road more productive and more rewarding – no blackout dates is another major step in that direction.”

Additional new enhancements to Marriott Rewards include:
• For every four-night stay redeemed, members will receive a fifth redemption night free for that stay.

• Platinum Elite members’ bonuses will increase from 30 to 50 percent of the total points earned during their stay.

Visit www.marriott.com/rewards/no-blackout-dates for details on the program changes.  Go to http://twitter.com/MarriottIntl to see what other travelers are saying about Marriott Rewards.
