PHILOSOPHY 
Redefine the vacation ownership industry by incorporating the signature quality, service and hospitality expertise of Marriott into a product which offers ownership of upscale vacation ownership resorts at a great value, with the flexibility to experience vacation destinations around the world.

HISTORY
Marriott Vacation Club was established in April 1984 with the acquisition of American Resorts and its 184 villas on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina which became Marriott’s Monarch at Sea Pines.

PRODUCT 
The deeded property purchase of a vacation villa for one or more weeks within a "floating time" system allows scheduling each year's vacation during the most convenient week within a specified season.  (Resorts in international and metropolitan locations have right-to-use ownership for a period of time, usually 50-60 years). Owners may exchange their week(s) for comparable vacation alternatives and/or take advantage of split week and lock-off opportunities, depending on the location.

Price varies depending on the villa type, resort, destination and seasons:
Villa Range: $7,900 - $140,000

USAGE OPTIONS 
Marriott Vacation Club
Priority exchange within the luxurious collection of more than 50 premiere Marriott-branded interval ownership resorts worldwide.

Marriott Rewards Program
Trade villa weeks through Marriott Rewards and redeem points for vacations at participating Marriott hotels and resorts worldwide, or apply towards other options including cruises, air travel and rental cars.

Interval International
Exchange within Interval’s global system of over 2,400 resorts in more than 75 countries.

Marriott Rental Program

If unable to use week(s), owners can rent their villa/week through Marriott.
