Complimentary room, rebate and attrition offer for the Marriott Meetings Matter Promotion are limited to participating Marriott Hotels & Resorts, JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Renaissance Hotels & Resorts, and Courtyard by Marriott hotels, globally. To be eligible for one complimentary room for every 35 rooms booked and 25% attrition rate, qualifying meeting must consist of at least 50 cumulative paid room nights. To be eligible for additional rebate equal to 2% of total revenue, qualifying booking must consist of at least 100 cumulative paid room nights. Rebate, which will be applied to final master bill, does not apply to any surcharges, gratuities, taxes or third-party charges. Offer valid on new contracts only that are booked between March 9, 2009 and March 31, 2010 for meetings held no later than March 31, 2010. The Member must sign a contract with the hotel on behalf of the group to govern the terms of the meeting ("Sales Contract"). The details of the incentives selected by the group must be identified and described in the Sales Contract. The terms of this offer shall not be interpreted to modify the terms of the Sales Contract. Whether to book a meeting is at the discretion of the hotel and is subject to availability and other factors at time of booking. Availability and terms of offer will be confirmed during contract sales process. Blackout dates may apply for special events. Groups booked and contracted through QuickGroupSM on Marriott.com are not eligible for this promotion.
Marriott Rewards Double Rewarding Events points offer valid at participating Marriott brands worldwide. Participating brands include: Marriott® Hotels & Resorts, JW Marriott® Hotels & Resorts, Renaissance® Hotels & Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott®, Fairfield Inn by Marriott®, SpringHill Suites by Marriott®, and Marriott Vacation Club® International hotels and resorts worldwide. Registration is required to be eligible for this promotion. Registration must occur prior to the end date of qualifying events and meetings in order to receive bonus points. Marriott Rewards® members ("Member") who register for this promotion will earn double Marriott Rewards points, up to 50,000 bonus points, on qualifying charges per qualifying event or meeting. Qualifying events or meetings must have at least 10 rooms for one night or be a catering-only event. They must be contracted on or after March 9, 2009, and held between March 9, 2009 and March 31, 2010.
The registered Member must sign a sales/group contract with the hotel for the event or meeting to qualify. The Member signing the contract receives the bonus points and the bonus points cannot be awarded to a different account.
It is the Member's responsibility to comply with his or her own company policy concerning travel programs. Members electing to earn miles are not eligible for this promotion. Only individual Members (no corporations, organizations, or other entities) are eligible to earn Marriott Rewards points.
