All of our cabins are fit for campfire cooking with a fire pit, grill grate, picnic table and chairs, plus firewood or charcoal and a firestarter for purchase.
Each cabin is designed with essential comforts for a simple, self-sufficient stay. Inside, you’ll find a bed (single queen or queen bunk depending on cabin type), heating and AC, electricity, fresh linens, towels, bath products, and a private bathroom with hot water. The kitchenette includes a two-burner stovetop, mini fridge, cookware, dishes, and utensils. Outdoors, your private space includes a fire pit with grill grate, a picnic table, Adirondack chairs, and a nearby dedicated parking space. Cabins can accommodate 1 to 4 guests depending on the layout.
Yes. All cabins include heating and AC for year-round comfort, allowing you to adjust the temperature to your preference. Cabins also have electricity for lighting, outlets, and charging devices, along with running water and hot showers. In colder weather, hot water may be limited to about 5 minutes at a time and may require short breaks between use to recharge. Please note that cabin power is not available for vehicle use, and there are no EV charging stations onsite.
Postcard Cabins are compact with limited storage space, so we recommend packing light and using soft bags, which are easier to store than large suitcases. Bring only what you need for your stay and plan for outdoor conditions, including layers and comfortable shoes. If you’re bringing groceries, a cooler with ice can be helpful for additional storage. Keeping items organized will help you make the most of the space.
Cabins do not include a freezer, ice, oven, microwave, or large appliances. Outposts also do not provide cribs, pack and plays, or high chairs, and due to the compact layout, there is limited space to accommodate them. Guests traveling with young children should plan accordingly based on cabin size and setup.
Each Postcard Cabin includes a two-burner stovetop and basic cookware for simple indoor meals. Outdoors, a grill grate is available over the fire pit for cooking. Indoor cookware should not be used over the fire pit, so guests planning to cook outdoors should bring fire-safe cookware. At select outposts, Outdoor Suite cabins also include a gas grill.
The Postcard Cabins kitchen setup is best suited for simple meals. With limited fridge space and no on-site dining, we recommend bringing groceries and planning ahead. For additional storage, consider bringing a cooler with ice for extra food and beverages. All food should be stored inside your cabin to avoid attracting wildlife. Do not leave food or trash outdoors at any time.
Wi-Fi and cell service may be limited depending on the Postcard Cabins Outpost and carrier. While many locations have service, connectivity can be inconsistent throughout the property and during your commute. All staff communication is handled via SMS text before and during your stay, and each cabin includes a phone to reach emergency support if needed. We recommend downloading directions, maps, movies, and music before arrival to ensure a smooth and connected experience.
Postcard Cabins are cleaned before each arrival. Daily housekeeping is not available. If you need anything during your stay, our team is available 24/7 via text or your cabin’s landline for support.
Guests may request cabins to be near each other, but cabins should be booked separately and preferences shared after booking. While we will do our best to accommodate, cabins are assigned based on availability and may be spread throughout the Postcard Cabins Outpost. Early check-in and late check-out may also be requested, but are not guaranteed and are subject to availability and occupancy closer to arrival.
