After completing demanding coursework, each Marriott Certified Wedding Planner is qualified to coordinate weddings of all types, including ethnic and military weddings. With approximately 2,100 square feet of meeting space, high-speed internet, and full audiovisual capabilities, this private island paradise has the largest meeting space in the BVI. And with endless activities available for your group—swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving. Caribbean pub crawl, team building on sailboats, or fishing the North Drop. Island hopping, world-famous bars, and casual lunches—Scrub Island is the ideal combination of work and play.

Indoor & Outdoor Venues

Columbus Ballroom

The air-conditioned space, featuring natural stone flooring, accommodates up to 150 people and can be divided into three rooms. Each is equipped with audio-visual and video conference capabilities, projection screens, staging, lighting and wireless microphones.

Grand Patio

The Grand Patio is the perfect place to create an unforgettable event. With over 2,700 square feet any type of gathering will fit in just fine. Our events team is ready to make your next wedding a reality in paradise.

North Beach

Scrub Island’s North Beach is the ideal setting for an intimate occasion. Gather underneath the stars with your feet in the sand and the sound of live music.

Conference and Hollow Square
Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Reception
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
Schoolroom or Classroom
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
