With Wild Wellness

Wellness Walk and Cold Water Immersion

Ignite your senses and inspire wellness in the Tassie wilds. This private walk invites you to step into and harness the meditative powers of Tasmania's wilderness. Think gentle ambling to our secret plunge location, with local guides sharing stories of our destination. We’ll walk, pause, meditate, breathe, eat and journal together. At the swimming spot, we’ll lead you through a breathwork session in nature’s amphitheater. Follow this with an invigorating plunge into crystal waters (optional - one can opt to be chief photographer). We’ll serve up toasty hot drinks and Tassie fare. We then gather in for a science-backed Wild Wellness journalling session.

Reminiscent

The earthy moss of a rainforest floor, the honeyed blossom of spring, the icy freshness of the Roaring 40s crossing beaches and button grass plains.Scent is both transformative and evocative, with the capacity to alter mood, trigger a fond memory and feelings of nostalgia, or bring about a visual image. Your guided masterclass with scent sommelier The Raconteur will take you on an exploration of Tasmania’s native flora and the science of the strongest human sense. You’ll craft your own scent from locally harvested botanicals and distil it into a candle to take home. May fond memories of Tasmania be triggered every time you light its wick.

Meadowbank

Meander an hour west of Hobart alongside the Derwent River, and you’ll find yourself at a place called Meadowbank Lake. A name synonymous with camping and watersports, but your visit is on terra firma…mostly! The sealed road gives way to a winding dirt track, a hidden valley, and a picturesque vineyard set on the banks of the upper River Derwent. But this is no ordinary cellar door or wine tasting. And you’ll need to work for your wine. Professionally designed and built private mountain bike trails await – some easy access to make the mtb novice feel confident and safe, others with enough speed, flow and vertical descent to set off an adrenaline rush. Buggie transfers back to the top of the slope maximise your riding time. And when you can ride no more, there’s wine, and lunch at a surprise spot on the Meadowbank property.
