Venues

Our resort boasts 8,450 square feet of flexible meeting space, with stylish, air-conditioned meeting halls that offer appealing neutral décor and can be split easily into convenient breakout rooms. Ideal for small meetings or intimate receptions of up to 30, our Miravalles and Tenorio Rooms feature large windows as well as pre-function space ideal for relaxing or mingling during breaks.

Outdoor Spaces

Our gardens and beaches are the perfect spot to hold a late night reception or event, with amazing views, themed parties organized, and a spectacular golf course view.

The resort also offers several medium-sized venues, both indoors and out, that are ideal for luncheons, dinners, poolside parties, and cocktail gatherings. Perfect for larger groups, the elegant, stylish Guanacaste Ballroom can accommodate groups of 500 theater-style or up to 400 guests for a banquet. The Ballroom is divisible into five intimate spaces and boasts a semi-enclosed pre-function foyer with beautiful garden views.

Ideal for stylish receptions of up to 800 guests, our Guanacaste Ballroom offers semi-enclosed pre-function space with garden views. Our Arenal Rooms or the semi-enclosed Caracola Restaurant can accommodate 100 guests. We also offer two tasteful rooms for intimate groups of up to 30 boasting large windows and outdoor pre-function space. Romantic outdoor ceremonies of up to 20 guests can be held at Zen Sky Garden, with golf course and ocean views, or our charming Lake View Gazebo.

For outdoor receptions we recommend the pool area or open-air cabana.

Our indoor spaces are located within our Guanacaste Convention center. Our largest ballroom (8432 sqft) offers semi-enclosed pre-function space with garden views.

Let our catering team design a meal based on your preferences to delight all your guests. Select from innovative canapés like Thai red curry fish croquettes, chipotle-rubbed beef tenderloin, or pesto-marinated cheese and tomatoes. Choose between a set menu and buffet for dinner, with starter options like blackened shrimp with a blue cheese polenta cake or toasted coriander tomato soup with crispy prosciutto, and entrées such as grilled filet mignon with paprika fingerling potatoes or tamarind-glazed sea bass. Delight them with a sweet bite before the cake, such as passion fruit mousse towers or key lime tarts.

Conference and Hollow Square
Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Reception
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
Schoolroom or Classroom
The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Requires a relatively large room. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.
