La Maddalena
Since 1994 this archipelago is a World Heritage Site by Unesco and consists of seven major islands. Spend a whole day discovering the wild beauty of the beaches and coves accessible only by boat, dive into the crystal-clear water noticing hundreds of fishes passing around you, and, eventually enjoy the magic sunset with its stunning colors that reminds tropical beaches.
Arzachena
Arzachena is a town in Costa Smeralda which boasts 88 kilometers of coastline dotted with numerous coves and bays that have maderenowned the sea of Sardinia. Apart from the amazing sea, also the natural areas that surround this town are gorgeous; for instance, at the ponds of Saloni you can admire various species of marsh birds part of the fauna of this beautiful area.
Stella Maris
This church has been designed in the sixties by the famous architect Busiri Vici. Precious masterpieces can be observed inside this holy place. Among the various artworks there are the bronze doors of Minguzzi, the priceless pipe organ of De Martino and two ancient German crucifixes. The exterior is also full of surprises, one of them is the stunning view of Porto Cervo.
Gola di Su Gorroppu
One of Sardinia's historical places. Legend has it that there is a strip of magical land where people that walk over it will have long life. Nobody knows where this mysterious piece of land is, the Ogliastra region offers one of the deepest canyons in Europe, though.
Golfo Aranci
From a height of 344 meters including 200 overlooking the sea, the promontory, can be reached on foot through the lovely Cala Moresca or by boat through the enchanting coast of Cala Greca. The rocky promontory of Capo Figari is one of the places that make Sardinia an astonishing land.
Isole di Li Nibani
These desert islands, in the southeast of Porto Cervo, are part of an important international park, the bay of Porto Li Nibani offers uncrowded coves where relaxation and solitude can be enjoyed while admiring the view. Monte Zoppu offers to athletes a fascinating view over Costa Smeralda.
Panoramica di Micalosu
Spending an afternoon on the road accompanied by the scent of gorse will be something memorable. Why not enjoy an afternoon at the wheel of your car exploring the panoramic road that links Arzachena to the coast of Cannigione – La Conia through the hill of Micalosu. This road offers an incommensurable perspective of Arzachena's Gulf and the islands of La Maddalena.
Nuraghe
In Arzachena, a few kilometers away from the hotel, it is possible to visit one of the main Nuragic sites of Sardinia. Discover the traditional stone buildings of the Nuragic Civilization dating back to 1800 BC. About 7,000 nuraghe, some of them really complex, scattered across the surface of Sardinia since 1997 have been recognized as a World Heritage by Unesco.
Porto Cervo
Every year thousands of yachts, sailboats and yachts decide to berth in this bay only for enjoying moments of amusement in the renowned "Piazzetta delle Chiacchiere." Small alleys will guide you through the typical constructions of Costa Smeralda. The small hamlet of Arzachena assumed this name because of its geographic conformation which seems to shape a deer's head.
Porto Rotondo
This fraction of Olbia offers some of the best beaches in Costa Smeralda as the Sassi Beach, Punta Volpe and Ira beach with its sand which reminds tropical islands. Porto Rotondo is very famous for its nightlife and its bars, why not Indulge a cocktail in the main Piazzetta?
Fungo di Arzachena
According to history in prehistoric times the first local people sought refuge under it, in Roman times the area was called Turubulus Maior (large mushroom). Ages of rain and wind were able to model this rock shapeing it like a mushroom until it becomes the symbol of Arzachena.
Rally of Costa Smeralda
Since 2004, between late May and early June, famous drivers from all around the world will compete for the dirt and winding roads for the Italian round of the World Championship. The event takes place on the roads around the mountains of Porto Cervo and the areas of Gallura.
