Coming Soon - Story Telling and Song
The Storytelling & Song program aims to share the cultures, traditions, and meaningful history of the Pima and Maricopa Tribes with resort and restaurant guests of all ages. Featured storytellers are from the Gila River Indian Community and tell a combination of Pima and Maricopa legends based on desert wildlife, typically with a moral lesson, as well as personal stories about their experiences growing up on the surrounding tribal lands. Due to cultural customs, this program is only offered in winter months.
Mustangs and Massages
Meet up at the Pima hitching Post and take a 90-minute horseback ride exploring the scenic landscapes of Wild Horse Pass. Feel the warmth on your skin as you travel under the sun-soaked skies and connect with nature with your noble companion. Upon your return relieve those muscles and steep in relaxation with a massage at Aji Spa.
Koli Equestrian Center
Channel your inner wrangler at the Koli Equestrian Center located near the resort. Join Chuck Pablo, a local wrangler in the community and see the land by horseback. Other activities at this family-owned Equestrian center include hay wagon rides, cattle drives, and other unique events.
