David Child General Manager at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. A 30 plus year veteran of the industry, David graduated from the University of Huddersfield in England with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management in 1991.

He joined the Mayflower Hotel in 1993, where he spent seven years in various Food & Beverage and Sales management positions. In 2000, David moved to the Renaissance Westchester Hotel NY as the Director of Food and Beverage and ultimately the Director of Operations in 2003. In 2007, David returned to Washington as the Director of Food and Beverage at the Renaissance Washington DC. He joined The Ritz-Carlton brand in 2011 as Hotel Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Washington DC and was proud to be a cultural ambassador and presenter for The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center.

He has worked for Marriott International for 25 years, and is a integral leader to the success of events at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. As the Director of Event Management, his responsibility is to lead my team to provide a flawless, world class experience from the first site visit until the last guest leaves the event. We provide the same care, attention to detail, and excellent service to our all customer regardless of the size or nature of the event.

The event team at the Bethesda North Marriott provides the same, high level of service from a five person board meeting to a 3,000 attendee VIP dinner and everything in between.
