For the first time in its history, the International Conference on Lightning Protection (ICLP), one of the most prestigious international lightning protection conferences, is coming to the African continent - and how appropriate! With some of the most spectacular thunderstorms in the world, South Africa’s long history of lightning research and our experienced protection industry, ICLP 2022 and South Africa are a natural fit. Hosted by the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg), the conference will be held in our beautiful Cape Town. With Table Mountain as the backdrop, expect a large gathering at the 36th International Conference on Lightning Protection. ICLP 2022 will take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from 2 to 7 October 2022.
