Dynasty Restaurant

Head Chef Mango Tsang is rightfully proud of Michelin-starred Dynasty Restaurant. “We have a fantastic following of local fans,” he says. “They keep coming back for our excellent value Cantonese food and the way we use the best local ingredients.”


“They also love this”, he laughs, pointing through the dining room’s floor-to-ceiling windows to an exquisite view over Victoria Harbour and the Kowloon skyline. Dynasty is the perfect place to sit and watch the frenetic activity of this hyper-modern city, while indulging in Chef Tsang’s signature creations. “We have a whole brigade of chefs dedicated to making both traditional and more unusual Hong Kong-style dim sum”, he says. “We make it fresh each morning and you can taste the difference. And after our dim sum you must try our fresh seafood and our barbecued pork.”
Other must-have dishes include fresh crab claws deep-fried in spicy salt, sautéed clams with asparagus in chilli sauce, “Shunde” style pan-fried spare ribs and the superb baked silver cod. Dynasty Restaurant also has a fantastic range of gourmet teas, ranging from Ginseng Oolong to the delicious Tiequanyin, which is apparently excellent for your heart.


Dynasty has six separate private dining rooms, which makes it a winning choice for business people entertaining guests. But it’s also a great restaurant for relaxation; on weekends, Chinese and expat families turn the place into a sea of happy conversation and satisfied appetites. “We love to welcome family groups; the best food is always made for sharing” says Chef Tsang.
