  • New! Dinosaur Explore: A unique and interactive prehistoric experience,featuring more than 20 life-size dinosaurs, moving and roaring just like their ancient ancestors.
  • Summit Skyride: A high-speed swiss cable car that transports guests more than 825 feet to the top of Stone Mountain.
  • Scenic Railroad: Ride a 1940's locomotive with open-air cars on a lively 5-mile excursion around the mountain.
  • Geyser Towers: Multiple levels of suspended rope bridges and net towers with a gushing geyser to play in.
  • SkyHike: Trek through the treetops on one of the nation's largest family adventure courses.
  • Dinotorium: Children ages 5-10 enjoy trampoline floors, super slides, climbing structures and over 65 interactive games.

History & Nature

Stone Mountain Park is rich in history, with over 3,200 acres to explore.

 

  • Confederate Memorial Carving:  The largest relief sculpture in the world, this work of art features three Confederate heroes of the Civil War.
  • Grist Mill: A great spot for picnics, this century old mill was moved to Stone Mountain Park in 1965 from Ellijay, Georgia.
  • Confederate Hall:  Recently renovated and full of information to educate on the ecology and geology of Stone Mountain.
  • Songbird Habitat & Trail: A one mile journey through the home of beautiful birds.
  • Carillon:  Enjoy daily concerts from the 732-bell Carillon, situated on beautiful Stone Mountain Lake.

Recreation

Featuring numerous outdoor adventures for all ages. you’ll never run out of things to do in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Hike over 15-miles of hiking trails, with a 1-mile trail to the top of Stone Mountain. Enjoy a family picnic in the scenic surroundings of Grist Mill or the Covered Bridge or go fishing in the 393-acre Stone Mountain Lake.
