Getting Around

The MAX (Metropolitan Area Express) Light Rail Open in a different browser tab connects Portland’s suburbs to the City Center and the Portland International Airport Open in a different browser tab. Within walking distance to the hotel visitors can access the blue, red and green lines which run every 15 minutes, every day.

The Portland Streetcar Open in a different browser tab also services the Lloyd District and recent upgrades provide a 7.5 minute frequency Monday through Saturday and a 10-minute frequency all day Sunday. Riders can board the A-Loop, which will operate clockwise around the Central City connecting the Pearl District, Lloyd District, OMSI and Portland State University while the B-Loop services the same areas but operates in the opposite direction.

The Rose Quarter is owned by an affiliate of the Portland Trail Blazers. Here you’ll find the 20,000 seat Moda Center Open in a different browser tab which serves as the home of the NBA Portland Trail Blazers. The WHL Winterhawks also call the Moda Center home for a portion of their season. Moda Center has played host to the introductory rounds of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament several times, as recently as 2015. In addition to basketball and hockey, the Moda Center hosts a wide variety of events such as concerts, family shows and other sporting events. Within walking distance of the hotel, Holladay Park has something for everyone. This forested gem boasts 4.34 acres including paved pathways, a children’s fountain, picnic tables and cast bronze sculptures by artist Tad Savina. You can also bring your own paddles and balls and play on one of the two outdoor ping pong tables year-round! Producing French- and Belgian-inspired farmhouse beers with open-barrel fermentation, the microbrewery’s tasting room is open on weekends and on Blazers game nights.
