Connected to the Convention Center

Rain or shine, your attendees can walk comfortably from our hotel to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center through our underground concourse.

Marquis Ballroom

One of D.C.’s grandest event spaces, the Marquis Ballroom offers 30,600 square feet accommodating up to 3,000 for receptions or theater-style presentations. Your attendees will be moved by the grandeur of the space created by 22-foot ceilings and motivated by the high-tech presentations made possible by our state-of-the-art technology.

Liberty Ballroom

Our 10,854-square-foot Liberty Ballroom offers an atmosphere elegant enough for a refined gala, yet flexible enough for a trade show or conference. Explore pillarless space for banquets of up to 960 guests and receptions of up to 1,050. We also offer the luxury of a private pre-function space for guests to mingle before the event.

Mezzanine Level

Our stunning mezzanine level offers a soaring common area for guests to relax and chat, with convenient access to 12 breakout rooms and six hospitality suites. Our meeting rooms can accommodate as few as eight or as many as 28 guests — or be combined for receptions or theater-style presentations for up to 110 attendees.

Meeting rooms

We provide attractive and flexible meeting space for events of every size. Independent space over multiple levels is suitable for a private meeting of 6 attendees, a reception for 250 or anything in between. Your choices include outdoor terraces with views of Penn Quarter and CityCenter.

 

  • Our Independence and Liberty ballrooms each offer 10,800 sq. ft. and 20-foot ceilings
  • 54 meeting rooms total more than 53,000 sq. ft. of freestanding space
  • Salons accommodate receptions for 30 to 1,600 guests
