For Chef Abraham Garcia, cooking is about embracing nostalgia while creating new memories - and helping people to experience those emotions at his restaurant. He believes that the most important ingredient in any meal is the passion the chef infuses into a dish during the preparation. “Diners will taste your mood”, he says to his apprentices, “so enjoy making it!”

Chef Abraham Garcia, the Executive Chef at Trios Bistro, discovered his love of cooking at an early age, helping in the kitchen with his Grandmother and aunts. For the last fifteen years, he has gained knowledge and experience in restaurant and hotel kitchens internationally.

His exciting career with Marriott began in 2002 and has allowed him to combine his passion for food and travel, while helping to build Marriott’s Canadian restaurant reputation. He has worked at Toronto Airport Marriott, Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown, Marriott Gateway on the Falls and now Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre. In 2010, Abraham was honored with the prestigious “Rising Star” award, which recognizes and celebrates culinary excellence and talent amongst Marriott full-service hotels.
