Brookline

Located near Boston, Brookline is a small city in the state of Massachusetts. One of the top things to do in Brookline is to discover local heritage and culture. There are two important historic sites in the area – the John F. Kennedy and Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Sites.

Additionally, visitors can tour the colonial Edward Devotion House. The city is also home to the Larz Anderson Auto Museum, with one of the oldest car collections in the United States. The museum is surrounded by the Larz Anderson Park, lovely grounds for a stroll and a picnic. There are plenty of other Brookline attractions that are outdoors. Head to the Hall’s Pond Sanctuary in Amory Park, go for a jog at Reservoir Park, or spend the day on the Emerald Necklace, a 445-hectare chain of parks with trails, waterways, and green areas.

Guests staying at Brookline hotels can also visit the Museum of Bad Art or catch a show at the Puppet Showplace Theater and the Coolidge Corner Theatre. Plus, there are plenty of neighborhoods for shopping and dining. Visitors can choose from among Coolidge Corner, Washington Square, Brookline Village, Chestnut Hill, St. Mary’s Station, and JFK Crossing.
