How do I come and look at the wedding venues?

Please complete our Request for Proposal to be contacted by someone from our Weddings Team. You may also make an appointment with a wedding sales manager by calling (615) 458-5653.

How many people can your venue handle for a wedding ceremony or reception?

We have hosted ceremonies and receptions for groups of every size, from 2 people to several thousand.

What are the times for weddings?
An afternoon wedding reception needs to end by 4 p.m.; evening wedding receptions begin at 6 p.m. Ceremony times can be adjusted to accommodate reception times. The latest an event may last until 12 midnight.

Can I have just my ceremony here?
During busier wedding months, we may require that you hold your reception with us. However, your Wedding Sales Manager may be able to offer you a ceremony-only event during certain dates and times.

We want to host everything in one location. Can you handle a bridal luncheon, rehearsal dinner and farewell brunch?
Yes, we have many options for venues for each of these events. We can create a different experience for your guests at each one, or tie all of them together with a common theme. We can provide special menus or customize a menu to fit your tastes.

When do we decide on all the details for our wedding?
Your Wedding Event Manager will arrange the details with you 2-3 months prior to your event.

Do you have onsite wedding planners and coordinators? Can I bring in my own?
Upon signing a contract with us, you will be assigned a Wedding Event Manager who will discuss details such as the setup and menu with you. It is strongly recommended you bring in a Wedding Coordinator to assist with vendor and bridal party timelines, rehearsal run-through, and handle the on-site coordination of your wedding and/or reception.

I am out of state and worried about planning long distance. Are you able to help me?
Absolutely. Our Wedding Sales Managers will work with you closely through email, phone and mail to make sure all the details are covered.

What vendors are included?
Wedding packages do not include any vendors. You are responsible for booking your officiant, florist/decorator, photographer, videographer and music for both the ceremony and reception.

Your Wedding Event Manager can provide a list of recommended vendors, or you are welcome to bring in your own vendors. In addition, Gaylord Opryland offers award-winning florists to handle your floral needs.

Are there any photography restrictions?

We reserve the privilege of scheduling photography sessions for wedding portraits for brides hosting their wedding at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Attractions.

How is parking handled?

Is a rehearsal for the ceremony included?

We allot a 1-hour rehearsal time for weddings with 50 guests or more. The rehearsal is generally held the day before the ceremony.

Where does the wedding party get dressed?

Most wedding parties prefer to book a stay the night before the wedding so they can get ready in the comfort of their rooms.

A menu tasting for up to 4 people is available for couples planning a banquet reception for 100 or more guests at Gaylord Opryland Resort and our attractions.
