The Hotel Goldener Hirsch has, since its construction in 1407, hosted many famous minds and meetings. It was here that the location for the new Festival Hall was negotiated.

A prestigious and distinguished atmosphere and central location make the hotel an ideal site for hosting a business meeting or personal event. Our three meeting rooms range in size for a total meeting area of 135-square-meters. Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, with fax and teleconference capabilities accessible in certain venues. All rooms are equipped with specially crafted chairs by Figur from Vitra. A special bending mechanism and choice upholstery make these chairs exceptionally comfortable.

Ideal for a distinguished meeting is the storied Die Bibliothek. Originally built to be a library, the room is sized at 60-square-meters. Traditional, scholarly construction—accentuated by a royal blue interior and regal red chairs—is balanced in by the latest conference presentation equipment including audio broadcasting, recording, and sound equipment.  

The 55-square-meter Rosa Salon presents a warm atmosphere defined by pink and green décor and direct sunlight. The salon is regularly used as a breakfast room, which makes it ideal for receptions, cocktails, private lunches, and dinner. There is no built-in equipment, but portable technology is available to enhance presentations.

The Green Bar meeting room, with a diameter of 20-square-meters, is our most intimate venue. Ideal for interviews, lunches, and small meetings, the room size and charming stag themed décor create a warm, elegant setting.

All rooms include heating and air-conditioning units.

Room Set-Up Examples

Setup Example

E-shape, U-shape and T-shape

Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.

Conference and Hollow Square

Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.

Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
