The 24-hour Luxury Collection Concierge is available to secure dinner reservations, transportation and spa appointments. Guided day trip are available through the tour desk to some of the most popular local towns in the Sacred Valley, including Moray, Maras and Ollantaytambo.

María Jimena Luna, our Head Concierge suggests visiting the mystical Machu Picchu one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Pisaq and Ollantaytambo, nearby archeological sites, are also area must-sees.

When wanderlust once again calls, Maria also suggests a trip to Moray, an Incan agricultural lab built of successive overlapping terraces. A visit to the Maras salt mines, where the Incas obtained salt for their vast entire empire, is another worthwhile adventure.

Machu Picchu

Imagine picnicking on the shores of an Andean lake and then kayaking across it—an adventure only matched by mountain biking down into the Sacred Valley soon after.

Or perhaps a more leisurely walk through the city of Cusco is more preferable. On this tour, guests are accompanied by professional photographers who share their expertise and enable participants to capture the magic of the area on film.

Additional tours focus on life in the Sacred Valley region. Travel to a nearby community famous for its knitting and weaving, and then share the day with the people who call it home.


Moray, Maras, and Ollantaytambo
Moray, notable for its Incan architecture, is the first of three towns explored on this unique trip. Next, explore the traditions of the village of Maras on the way to ancient salt mines. The afternoon ends with a tour of the ruins of Ollantayambo.

Travel back in time at in this extensive tour covering three of the area's most popular and educational destinations. Discover the ruins of the Chinchero archeological site and gaze in wonder upon the immense Moray agricultural lab, an Incan structure of successive overlapping terraces. End the day at the Maras salt mines, where the Incas obtained salt to sustain their vast empire.
Experience the beauty of the Ollantaytambo River with our expert guides in an exciting rafting trip in the heart of the Sacred Valley. More experienced rafters are invited to explore the Vilcanota River and surrounding valley.

Begin with an easy ride down the tranquil Ollantaytambo River. Further below, the pace picks up with level I and II rapids, as views of terraced mountainsides and 800 meter rock walls tower above. For those eager to test their skills on water challenging waters, the Chuquicahuana River offers level III and IV rapids. The canyon is in the upper Vilcanota River—the ideal place to view the surrounding narrow valley and the beautiful birds that call it home.
Machu Pichu Tours
From the hotel’s own train station, a scenic route will take you to Peru’s most famous and most-visited attraction: the incredible ruins of Machu Picchu, regarded as one of the modern wonders of the world. Once you arrive in Aguas Calientes, a guide will lead you to the bus that will take you up to your private tour through the site. Your guide will detail Machu Picchu’s history and magic and answer any questions you may have before your return journey.
Enjoy a daylong adventure that will introduce you to the beauty and artistic splendor of a nearby town and it’s people. Visit the community of Chahuaytire, known for its expert weavers and just minutes from the town of Pisaq. Stroll along its streets and discover clothing made by the hands of its inhabitants, veritable masterpieces of textile art. Then, take an easy hike through the Sacred Valley and enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by beautiful countryside.
Pisac & Ollantaytambo
Enjoy a leisurely tour of the Incan ruins in Pisac and Ollantaytambo, two historical and vibrant towns in the Sacred Valley.
Mountain Biking
Moray, with its Incan agricultural laboratory constructed of successive overlapping terraces, is where this well planned mountain biking trip begins. Capture unmatched views and everlasting memories on this unique excursion.

Traveling downhill, guests then descend onto dirt roads and horse trails to the culturally rich town of Maras. It's here that the group will capture the best views of the Urubamba Mountains. The descent continues to the nearby salt mines and ends at the bottom of a horse trail at the Sacred Valley. Transportation is provided back to the hotel.
Horseback Riding
Join us on a horseback ride to the Pumahuanca Valley as valley birds and native flora dance before you. Look forward to a side trip to a local fish farm to learn about their organic fish breeding techniques.
Explore the sacred valley by foot and truly experience the heart and soul of this ancient area. Trek the Incan wall at Yucay or traverse an emerald forest on your way to the town of Chinchero. Two distinct trekking experiences await.

Join us as we follow a remarkable canal as it traces gently rolling hills, and then strike off across Incan farmlands and terraces still in use by Yucay townsfolk today.

As an alternative, the Quebrada de los Lorros trek guides participants through the town of Chinchero and onto a stony path to a gully in the forest. This trek concludes in the sublime landscape of the Sacred Valley.
