The resort boasts over 180,000 square feet of inviting indoor and outdoor function space. With 29 possible function spaces, including three elegant ballrooms, our thoughtfully-designed meeting venues are decorated with authentic Native American artwork and artifacts. Outdoor spaces span from rolling lawns and patios to shaded riverside spots perfect for luncheons or keynote addresses.

The two main ballrooms, Akimel and Komatke, can both accommodate over 1,000 guests theater-style and are each divisible into smaller venues. Both also offer adjacent pre-function areas, ideal for welcome receptions or cocktails. Pipai Kave Ballroom, hosting just over 500 theater-style, is perfect for slightly smaller gatherings.

With nineteen breakout rooms, any meeting configuration is possible. Two of these rooms offer windows with views, while seven boast walk-out patios for a relaxing afternoon break or reception in the Arizona sun. For an inspiring event set against the beautiful ochre and sage palette of the desert, hold your event in the ample shaded area of the Akimel Lawn and Patio, adjacent to the scenic Gila River. Estrella Sunset Point—overlooking the river and golf courses as well as the mountain range—offers the perfect vantage for spectacular sunset views. Our uncovered outdoor space can accommodate events ranging from intimate dinners of 20 guests up to large events for as many as 1,000.


Our catering staff brings a perfect blend of skill and talent to each event, and excels at designing menus tailored to your needs and interests, with touches of indigenous and regional flavor. Build your own à la carte spread or choose one of our menu packages; all are carefully-balanced and can be complemented with delicious sweet or savory treats.

Start their day off well with a range of breakfast menus, including our unique Native American breakfast. Morning breaks include the New Yorker with bagels and spreads as well as Arizona Fitness, featuring fresh fruit, granola bars, and trail mix—or brighten their afternoon with build-your-own nachos and Mexican pastries. Reception tables span from herb-marinated grilled vegetables to delicious canapés like roasted corn and chorizo quiches or ruby beet phylo stars—or choose a Wine Country Reception featuring imported and domestic cheese, summer sausage, and patés.

Main events—whether lunch or dinner—range from hot and cold tables to buffet and sit-down options. Flavors mingle beautifully in entrées like pan-seared wild salmon with a plantain and lemongrass salad, mole-rubbed flank steak over white carrot mash, or Colorado lamb chops with spearmint and white peach compote. Bring the meal to a sublime close with flourless chocolate cake or vanilla citrus brulée with wild berries.
