Since he was a child, he started to travel around the lagoon keeping in mind the most fascinating and spectacular places of the area. Concierge Recommendations

We invite you to meet our team at the Concierge Desk. Each Luxury Collection Concierge is a multilingual, certified destination expert, proudly wearing les clef d’or—the gilt insignia of the celebrated international concierge society—and eager to reveal the secret treasures of Venice and beyond.

From reservations at the finest restaurants to organising private boat and walking tours, our team always performs to the highest standards of service. Turn to them for theatre and concert reservations, private gallery museum showings, golf arrangements, information regarding church services, general directions, and much more.

In addition to popular attractions such as St. Mark’s Square and St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, and the Bridge of Sighs, the Concierge recommends the following as unique places to explore:

The Venice Lagoon Islands
Take a private motorboat to the major islands in the lagoon—Lido, Torcello, Burano, and Murano—each distinct in personality and style. Murano dazzles with its glassmaking craft, still rendered like it was centuries ago, while Burano boasts delicate lacework coveted around the world. For a day at the beach, Lido offers long stretches of sand and plenty of sidewalk cafés perfect for people watching.
Fish & Vegetable Markets
For a fascinating slice of Venetian life, take an early walk through the erberia (vegetable) and pescheria (fish) markets in the Rialto. The activity begins at the first light of dawn, as vendors unload their produce from barges. Local chefs bargain hard for that night’s menu, and locals shop before heading to work.
Palladian Villas
Take a scenic driving tour of these magnificent Renaissance homes along the Brenta River. Built between 1500 and 1700 as a lavish testament to the wealth and power of Venice’s merchant class, each villa boasts an extravagance rarely seen in any time period since.

Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute

Lovingly referred to as “la Salute,” this gorgeous site is one of the most photographed churches in Italy. Located near Punta della Dogana on a strip of land between the Grand Canal and the Giudecca Canal, the basilica’s iconic domed exterior has recently undergone renovation, revealing the beauty of its intricate carvings and religious sculptures.
