Congress Ave Bridge

March-November is bat season in Austin. Watch the largest urban colony of Mexican free-tailed bats in North America emerge from beneath the bridge at dusk. The massive migration at dusk is incredible, uniquely Austin, and a must-see event.

Zilker Botanical Garden

Take a stroll through wildflowers, butterflies, koi ponds and more at Zilker Botanical Garden's 26 acres, often call the "jewel in the heart of Austin"

Texas State Capitol

Visit the massive Capitol building and beautiful park-like grounds. The Bullock Texas State History Musuem is also nearby where you can learn the full history of The Lone Star State.

You won't want to miss the dining & nightlife in the the Rainey Street district which is peppered with beer gardens and historical bungalows that have been rezoned as night spots. There's even a bar made from shipping containers!
