In its first location outside Switzerland, IGNIV by Andreas Caminada has spread its wings & landed to create a new nest at The St. Regis Bangkok. Imagined by Andreas Caminada, the Swiss founding chef of IGNIV and head chef of the internationally acclaimed 3-Michelin-starred restaurant Schloss Schauenstein in Switzerland, IGNIV is all about a unique fine dining sharing experience, led by head chef David Hartwig, along with his sous chef and pastry chef Arne Riehn.
Following the success of Andreas Caminada’s IGNIV restaurants in the Swiss Alps at St. Moritz and Bad Ragaz, both of which have been awarded with Michelin stars, the new gourmet nest will be the first addition to the IGNIV family outside Chef Andreas’s native Switzerland.

IGNIV, meaning ‘nest’ in Romansh, will be a place to simultaneously escape from, and revel in the Thai capital’s essence. The unique sharing concept aims to connect diners and offers a culinary experience where one can connect not just with the food but with each other. Menus at IGNIV Bangkok are seasonal and light, prepared with traditional cooking techniques elevated to modern perfection. Ingredients impeccably sourced both locally and internationally through artisanal crafts’ people and purveyors.

The restaurant’s modern but cozy ambiance comes courtesy of acclaimed Spanish interior designer Patricia Urquiola. Refined fabric boiseries are combined with colorful furniture to complement the energy of the city. With her unique sense of space, Patricia has created a feeling of comfort for indoor areas, which beautifully reflect the attributes of the IGNIV nest character.
