In a setting of marble, wood, and light, and surrounded by Murano glass, the open kitchen has been painstakingly designed to set the stage for gastronomic ingenuity. Restaurant La Scène unites simple pleasures, the culture of taste, and the authenticity of magnificent ingredients.

The menu and daily specials evolve according to availability. Seasonal dishes boast pure, generous compositions: tiny shellfish; poached, line-caught sea bass in vanilla butter; sweetbreads with dates; and a turbot for sharing. This accessible cuisine seeks to provoke surprise and emotion through simple yet elegant combinations of two or three flavors.

These culinary flights of fancy are accompanied by the collections of the Sommelier. Options include Chambertin Clos de Bèze 2005 signed Armand Rousseau (Burgundy), Côte-Rôtie Landonne by Jean-Michel Gerin (Rhone Valley), and Château Margaux 1990 (Bordeaux). New discoveries include a white Austrian wine, Grüner Veltliner vintage Schutt by W. Knoll, and a Bouzy grand cru Blanc de Noirs by Pierre Paillard. Connoisseurs of champagne will appreciate its presentation on a silver cart.

Meals draw to a close with the sugared creations of our pastry team, whose signature dessert, the vaporous meringue, is a veritable show in lightness. This true artisan sculpts dynamic, refined compositions that perfect the decadent simplicity of the entire meal.
