C'EST UN HOTEL QUE J'AIME BEAUCOUP, POUR DIVERS RAISONS.
IL EST EN COURS DE RELOOKING, IL DEVRAIT ETRE PLUS AGRÉABLE PROCHAINEMENT.
LA PISCINE EST REFAITE, L'EAU DE LA DOUCHE N'EST PLUS SALINE, ET LES CHAMBRES SONT ENCOURS DE RELOOKING.

Nice hotel in Djibouti
Sheraton Djibouti hotel is really a good choice if you will stay in Djibouti for long time. The location is excellent with beautiful view of the Arden Bay. The staffs are good, especially Sayed, who works in 6th floor business lounge, is very warm and responsive.

Thanks to the efforts of the hotel staff, the objective conditions of Djibouti are limited to this hotel. But here can feel the team's efforts and services. Thank you.

Exceeded my expectations
If you are a world traveler as I am, then you come to understand that a hotel does not exist in a vacuum. Hotels are in the cities and countries that they are - and if, as a traveler, you expect that your visit to a Sheraton hotel in Djibouti is going to match your experience to the one you stayed at in Paris, you'll be flat out disappointed. But my experience is that this hotel is probably the best one you'll find in Djibouti and the staff bent over backwards to accommodate me and make sure I had a comfortable and pleasant and worry-free stay. The restaurant was good, the staff attentive. The shuttle drivers were helpful and efficient. The front desk was friendly and comforting. The room was clean and comfortable. I had none of the bad experiences that some of the more recent guests did. I'd put forth that the hotel does NOT have a scent that is any different from that of the country it's in - and in most areas of the hotel the smell is much better actually.
There were plenty of world travelers there from the west, but mostly US and French citizens - and they all were happy and mingling easily in the big lobby/bar as I entered. I understand the manager there is new and clearly he has instituted some new procedures and staff instructions because every single person I encountered from the van driver to the dining room employees to the pool attendant were respectful, courteous and helpful - certainly embodying the reputation I've come to expect of other Sheratons around the globe.

Bad smell
I stayed here for about three nights and my stay was awful. There was bad smell in the corridor, the staffs were not so responsive and the hotel shuttle drivers were bugging me for tip. I would not recommend this hotel for any one.
