Rated 1 out of 5 by AlanArnold from Careful of this hotel I stay at 30 plus Marriott a year. This hotel allowed a Bulldog show that had hundreds of dogs staying at the hotel. Everything stunk like wet and dogs. We were never warned about the dog show, not even at checking in. When I tried to find out what my options were, We were told the hotel is pet friendly and we should not have an issue. I don’t think hundreds of dogs at a hotel is a dog friendly hotel, but a kennel. With large number of dogs, everything was dirty. Poop buckets, dirt everywhere, and the smell was so bad, it was in our clothes, and stayed with us even when we left! It became so bad that plastic was put down in the elevators, hallways, etc. Come on Marriott... when we stay at your hotels, we expect a lot more than this. Very disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JWE from Best hotel in San Ramon,CA area The hotel is a warm friendly hotel from check in to check out.The staff is helpful/informative checking in and throughout our stay. The elevators have recently been upgraded...the beds are comfortable and has a large TV in the room, you are within walking distance to a corporate walking trail, Whole Foods,Peet’s coffee, Target and the new City Entertainment area, which has an ice skating rink...movie theater and great choice of dining..The hotel breakfast includes a person making omelettes, which is a tasty treat and the servers have been there forever which translates to me, management at the hotel keeps it employees happy..There is an outdoor pool, and good sized gym..my wife and I visit the area twice a year and always choose the San Ramon hotel...

Rated 4 out of 5 by DrJudi from Business Hotel This is a nice hotel if you are in the area on business since you can walk to nearby restaurants and stores. The food and service are ok but not terrific (limited choices, iffy service) and no coffee on weekends in the lobby area (it is there during the week). The staff is very friendly and the rooms are large and comfortable. No makeup mirrors in the bathroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SuzanneM from Exceptional Service at Marriott San Ramon I was staying at the Marriott because the Orinda Woman's Club was sponsoring an event there, and even though I live in a nearby city, I did not want to have any delays in arriving on the morning of the event. The bell staff were very helpful in storing items for the event, the front desk personnel were friendly and accommodating (I needed both early check-in and late check-out), and the feeling throughout the hotel was positive, upbeat, gracious, and professional. The catering staff and event support team went out of their way to address requests quickly and resolve issues even faster. I love this hotel!
