Horrible
Bathroom light was not working, there was a hair ball left on the bathroom floor, the counters and floors were sticky so the floors weren’t cleaned/mopped or vacuumed. There were dirty clothes left behind in both rooms we stayed in. Dishes were put away dirty in the cabinets, the air was not working, only half the stove was working, there were dirty stains, one one garbage bag which was in the bathroom. Nothing seemed like it was clean! We went to our first room and it was horrible but luckily Denise was so helpful that she made it a priority to get us a new room. We got to our new room and still floors and counters were sticky and not wiped or mopped, dirty clothes left behind under the bed, only one garbage bag to be found and it was in the bathroom. Still stains and the air was not working that well either. Also, There were no towels by the pool area.

Allergy Friendly Hotel
The Norfolk Residence Inn is both dog friendly and friendly to those allergic to pets. They have floors that are pet friendly and floors that allow no animals. The hotel is 100% smoke-free.
The hotel is very new and the rooms were in very good condition. Service is responsive and accommodating.
We will definitely be staying here in the future.

Great location and facility
Perfect location to downtown Norfolk, Ghent and a lot of restaurants, culture and all the Military bases are in close proximity. The room was a good size, the staff was wonderful, and the hotel held events almost nightly in the lobby.

Professional Courtesy and Cleanliness
The front desk agents were unprofessional and the cleanliness of the bathroom was unexceptionable.

Residence Inn Norfolk Downtown
My room was very cold on the first night I had to sleep with my sweat clothes on and woke up not feeling well because the heat was not working. I called the front desk and was told they would reset it however the heat did not start working until late Saturday morning which was the second day of my stay. Also the sofa was extremely dirty with heavy stains so I asked the front desk for a set of sheets to cover the sofa so that me and my quest could at least sit down and watch tv. Also I had to kill a number of stick bugs in the room.
This was not a very bad experience.
