POOR Service - Staff Needs Training
I was looking forward to our convention weekend. I really was hoping to like Sheraton because I had not in the past. I did not have a great experience with the staff at all. From the beginning I had issues with the person not booking me the full reservation that I asked for. I called to reserve 1 room with 2 queen beds for 3 adults for 4 days but the email confirmation was for 3 days. This caused him to make me a second reservation for the additional day, which would cause 2 separate credit card charges. A week prior to check in, I called the hotel to get a credit card authorization form, since the room was to be charged to a card different from the one used to reserve the room. I had to call 3 times that day before they actually emailed it. Upon check in I asked the young lady to make sure that the cards were changed over. she said it was, but it was not. When we checked in we were not given the room that I reserved and had to wait while they "found" another room to put us in. When I inquired about breakfast in the hotel restaurant, the staff had no answers to my simple questions. We were not given any information about what the hotel offered and had nor told what time valet parking closes (found that out the hard way). Was not able to speak to a manager until the 3rd day. I had to give her the credit card information at checkout to charge the room to, however she only switched over 1 of the 2 reservations. Therefore 1 reservation is still charged incorrectly. I am an SPG member and they did not give me the points although I was asked for my member number at check-in. I am also a travel agent and I will not refer any of my customers to this hotel. Please consider sending your staff back to hospitality and customer service training. They really need it.

Wonderful night!
The staff was pleasant and helpful. Check-in and out was easy. Parking was close, across the street. The room was clean. The beds were firm but soft. The view from the room was beautiful. The hotel is within walking distance of everything. Great night at the beach with my puppers and we'll definitely use Sheraton again.

Excellent Staff and great Facilities
We were at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront Sheraton for a Wedding in January 2019 and despite the bad weather outside, we had an incredible time before and during the Wedding which also took place at the Hotel. Our stay was very comfortable, with the 2 Queen bedroom oceanfront guest room being very well-appointed and a great size balcony overlooking the sea. At the 10th story, the view was breathtaking! We also enjoyed the wonderful boardwalk immediately outside. Being there for the Wedding, we got to interact with the Staff more and everyone treated us as if they knew us forever, from the Reception Staff, to the Valet Parking team, the Waiters and Bar men and the Cleaning Staff; we felt right at home and wished we could have stayed longer. We hope to return on a future trip for sure.

Ocean Front Room at the Sheraton

Bed Bugs and no hot water
We found a bed bug in our room and when we reported it to the front desk we were told they dont know what a bed bug looks like. They were very helpful switching our room and giving us a refund but now we are worried that we brought bed bugs back home with us, very stressful!

Nice view but uncomfortable bed!
Great views on the beach but hotel is aged and beds are not comfortable and service was below average.

It's I have stayed at this hotel several times and had great experience this particular time it was awful
It would be great if they would just have certain rooms for pets only
