Mexican Wrestling (Lucha Libre) is a classical and one of the most enjoyable performances I have been to.
Mexican wrestling is a real show, obviously blows are not real and they do not seem to be aggressive or violent at all. Stunts are the most spectacular.
I cannot believe how they jump in between and above the strings, how they jump in the air passing above their opponents and then tangling up with each other and give a spectacular somersault. It is amazing to identify all the chokeholds (It is an art!); the most popular are “The Breaker” (La Quebradora), “The Scissors” (Las Tijeras), “The Horse” (El Caballo) or “The Locksmith” (La Cerrajera). The Lucha Libre Shows are held every Friday at La Arena Mexico at 8:00 p.m.
