Sunshine Coast Beaches
Stretching from the coastal city of Caloundra to the Great Sandy National Park in the north, the Sunshine Coast is home to renowned surf spots and spectacular beaches. With scenic drives hugging the coastline, everywhere you stop will be a sparkling beach with blue waters inviting you in for a refreshing dip. Some of the Sunshine Coast's most popular beaches include; Bulcock Beach, Moffat Beach, Mooloolaba Beach and Cotton Tree Beach. Remember to always swim between the red and yellow flags at patrolled beaches. 
Sunshine Coast Hinterland & Glasshouse Mountains
There’s no shortage of outdoor adventure in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland There’s no shortage of outdoor adventure in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland with numerous trails for walkers, mountain climbers, dirt bike riders, and even horseback riders scattered throughout the Glass House Mountains National Park. Favourites amongst locals and tourists include Kondalilla National Park, Mount Ngungun, and Mount Cooroora, all of which range in walking track grades and distances. 
Australia Zoo
Located an hour north of Brisbane on the Sunshine Coast, Australia Zoo is the home of The Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. Discover animal experiences like no other with wildlife from Australia, Africa, South-East Asia, and more. Don’t miss the Wildlife Warriors Show at noon in the world-famous Crocoseum, or get up-close and personal with gorgeous wildlife by booking an animal encounter.
Gold Coast Beaches
Stretched out over the course of approximately 57km of coastline, the Gold Coast’s beaches feature some of the most popular surf breaks and beach locations in not only Australia but the world. Some of the Gold Coast's most famous and picturesque beaches include; Surfers Paradise, Main Beach, Burleigh Heads, and Tallebudgera Creek. Remember to always swim between the red and yellow flags at patrolled beaches. 
Gold Coast Hinterland
Draped with lush rainforest, the Gold Coast Hinterland is an ideal place to enjoy a walk and see where the green meets the gold. Both Lamington and Springbrook national parks offer ample opportunity to get up-close-and-personal with nature. Alternatively, pack a picnic and enjoy on the banks of the babbling Canungra Creek or opt for an alpaca picnic, where you can double date with two of the property’s furry friends.
Gold Coast Theme Parks
Drive down to the Gold Coast and experience fun for the entire family at a range of Theme Parks and Attractions. Become lost in a world of fantasy and fun at Movie World with world-class adventure rides, character experiences, and movie attractions. Experience a world of incredible animals, shows, and attractions at SeaWorld, or dive into Wet'n'Wild Water Park. Enjoy a day out at Dream World and White Water World, filled to the brim with famous characters, extreme waterslides, and live animal shows. 
Moreton Island 
An island getaway is always a good idea, and from Brisbane, you have a couple of amazing options. Jump on the 90-minute ferry to Moreton Island for 4WD sand-driving, sailing, fishing, swimming, sea-kayaking, snorkelling and diving. Moreton Island is also home to the highest coastal sand dune in the world, Mount Tempest, which provides 360 degrees of breath-taking views.
Stradbroke Island
With seemingly endless white sandy surf beaches, scenic rocky headlands, and fresh seafood, it’s easy to see why locals and visitors love Stradbroke Island, located only 60 minutes from Brisbane City Centre. Must-dos include the picturesque North Gorge Headland Walk, swimming in the sparkling beaches, taking a surf lesson, and grabbing fresh seafood at Rufus. Take your car across on the ferry that leaves from Cleveland or arrive as a foot passenger and use the local bus service. 
Tangalooma Island

The Scenic Rim
One of the great food bowls west of Brisbane, The Scenic Rim has a rich agricultural history and is home to six national parks as well as its fair stash of wineries and adventure activities. The region covers 420,000 hectares, and its main towns are Beaudesert, Boonah, Rathdowney, Kooralbyn, Kalbar, Aratula, Canungra, Tamborine Mountain, Harrisville, and Peak Crossing. These destinations are about a one hour drive from Brisbane City Centre. 
Kooroomba Vineyard & Lavender Farm
Nestled in the Fassifern Valley near Boonah and about 60 minutes from Brisbane, Kooroomba consists of a cellar door, restaurant, and lavender shop which overlooks a six-hectare vineyard and breathtaking lavender fields, with magnificent views of the Scenic Rim mountains. Kooroomba grows up to six types of Lavender, including French Lavender which flowers nearly all year round so there's always a light scent of Lavender in the air and a guaranteed photo opportunity. 
Tamborine Mountain
Standing proudly in the Scenic Rim is Tamborine Mountain, a spectacular oasis for nature lovers, art enthusiasts, and adventurers. Spend your morning wandering the dense forests of Tamborine National Park and catch a glimpse of some of the area’s most colourful birds and wildlife. A short drive away, Main St and the nearby Gallery Walk boast more than 60 art and craft stores and local cafes, perfect to refuel after your walk. If you’re feeling adventurous, visit the Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk and enjoy the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean from high in the trees.
