Princess Ka'iulani was the only child of Princess Miriam Likelike, and the last heir apparent to the throne of the Hawaiian Kingdom. The Sheraton Princess Kaiulani hotel was built on her the Royal Estate, known as Ainahau, recognized to have once entertained Hawaii's most prestigious social circles. Fun to play and easy to learn this uniquely Hawaiian instrument has come a long way since made popular by Hawaiian royalty. In fact, King David Kalakauna, loved the ukulele so much he incorporated it into traditional Hawaiian dances and music. Learn the ukulele with our friendly staff, available four days a week.
