Executive Chef, Dan Page is now behind the stove at Socialize at Threadneedles, offering a newly imagined menu inspired and designed with Culinary Director Mark Sargeant. The Restaurant is situated within the former Victorian city bank with its distinctive timeless design and is open to hotel guests and non-residents, serving beautifully creative and refined dishes that always celebrate the best of British ingredients.

Indulge in one of Marco's set price dishes from our Express Menu and discover the classics with modern magic - a culinary trick that is tough to achieve.
Dinner
Wheeler's is not just for fish lovers! Although the menu does feature brand classics, there's plenty of meat on the menu too. Marco has created a menu that gives a nod to the restaurant's history with an evolution into what today's diner wants. This includes a range of dry-aged Angus steaks from Rib of Beef and Sirloin to Fillet and Entrecote of Veal.
Bar and Dome Lounge
The dome lounge is the beating heart of Threadneedles. Located in the former banking hall, its iconic glass dome marks the centrepiece of the hotel. During daytime, natural light floods in as you fall into low leather chairs; it’s a spot for business lunches, casual drinks or a decadent Afternoon Tea. In the evening the architecture is just as impressive, with a convivial atmosphere oriented around cocktails.
Afternoon tea at Threadneedles Hotel is enjoyed in our magnificent lounge, under the impressive stained-glass dome as our attentive staff serve you a quintessentially classic afternoon tea with all the sweet treats created by Mark Sargeant. Cancellation Policy
Due to recent events and the impact that they have had on our industry we have put in place what we think are important but fair requests from our future guests. We know you will understand and look forward to seeing you soon.
Socialize requires a credit/debit card to secure all bookings. All card information will be processed securely. A nominal deposit of £25 per person will be added on booking and removed from the bill when paid in full. In the event of no-shows or cancellations less than 48 hours in advance the deposit will be non-refundable.
