Rhode Island

Rhode Island is the smallest state in the United States, situated in New England between Massachusetts and Connecticut. Despite its small size, Rhode Island offers 400 miles of coastline as well as numerous beaches and outdoor activities. The state capital, Providence, is a great place to start your trip. Many top Rhode Island attractions are located here, such as the Roger Williams Park, the Rhode Island School of Design Museum, the WaterFire Providence festival, and the Providence Performing Arts Center.

For a little history and culture, head to East Greenwich, a city founded in 1677 that still preserves a charming historic district along its Main Street. Next, explore one of the most popular things to do in Rhode Island and discover the area’s beaches. Narragansett is known to have some of the best beaches in the area, where you can sunbathe, swim, build sand castles, and generally unwind. Other great natural areas include Block Island with its stunning Mohegan Bluffs and the National Recreation Trail in New England.

Another place not to be missed is Newport, famous for its mansions, yachts, casinos, and luxury. While staying at Rhode Island hotels, taste excellent seafood, accompanied by local brews and delicious desserts.
