From 4 - 31 December 2025, the Gentse Winterfeesten brings the medieval centre to life with festive lights, more than 150 wooden stalls, an ice rink tucked under historic arches, and a Ferris wheel with incredible views over the rooftops. You can wander, shop for handmade gifts, and warm up with mulled wine or a classic Belgian snack as you go. Make time for the Castle of the Counts, too - it turns into a cosy winter setting with twinkling lights, storytelling corners, and seasonal drinks that make it extra special.
