TAKANAWA NIJUROKUYA
What is "Takanawa Nijyurokuya"?
During the Edo period in Takanawa, there was an event to wait for the moon to come out and pray on the night of the 26th of January and July of the lunar calendar. Many gathered and enjoyed eating and drinking while waiting for the moon. Takanawa was known for its great view.
At The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo, we have arranged “Takanawa Nijyurokuya” in a modern version, expressing using bamboo lights that evoke the elegant Japanese culture.
Enjoy our Japanese Garden illuminated by more than 400 bamboo lights, including designs inspired by the four seasons in Japan.
