Islandia

Islandia is a small suburban area located on Long Island in New York and is the perfect base to explore surrounding attractions. Some of the most popular places to visit in Islandia are the nearby parks. Visitors can go hiking, cycling, jogging, picnicking, and more at the Sunken Meadow State Park, the Avalon Park & Preserve, the Fire Island National Seashore, and the Bayard Cutting Arboretum. Alternatively, get on the water at the Connetquot River State Park Preserve, Lake Ronkonkoma, Nicoll Bay, or the Hidden Pond Park where you can kayak, canoe, and swim.

There are also plenty of cultural and historic places to visit in Islandia and the surrounding area. Head to the Long Island Maritime Museum, the Long Island Museum of American Art, History and Carriages, or to the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.

Other fun activities in the area include shopping at Tanger Outlets, catching a film at the Regal Ronkonkoma Stadium 9 movie theater, or playing a few rounds at Jake’s 58 Hotel and Casino.
