The Original Third Tee on the world famous Mauna Kea Golf Course is one of the most popular wedding venues at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. This historic back tee box is situated high on an ancient lava bluff among coconut palms and sculpted fairways. The rolling blue surf of the Pacific Ocean and vibrant hues of a setting sun complete the dramatic setting.

Near the Original Tee, this larger promontory on the third hole of Mauna Kea Beach Hotel’s golf course is our most popular wedding locale. Also high on a lava bluff, it sits just above the manicured fairway and the ocean’s inlet creating a dramatic setting for dreamy “I do’s.”

This large area is located on the north end of the hotel’s grounds and offers expansive views of the beach and Hawaii’s Kauna‘oa Bay. A lava stone patio serves as the stage for your Big Island wedding ceremony, while the adjacent lawn provides ample room for a wedding reception or dinner to follow.
