Amai le Pain – Beer Crafted From Leftover Bread
Marriot Bonvoy Hotels in Belgium are proud to announce an exciting initiative in sustainability with the introduction of their very own beer, brewed from surplus bread.
Amai Le Pain is an IPA beer (4% of alcohol) and offers a light and fruity taste with tropical fruit aroma. The fermentation with Norwegian yeast gives it a dry and acid touch. Amai le Pain's name is a tribute to Belgium's two official languages: 'Amai' is a popular Flemish expression used to express amazement or surprise, akin to 'WOW,' while 'Le Pain' means 'bread' in French.
